Mission 03 - Hunter's Meadow


Hunter's Meadow is the next mission of the They Are Billions campaign. This is one of the simplest missions of the main storyline - the goal is quite simple, there are few infected and there is no Horde. In this chapter you will find a step-by-step guide and tips related to The Hunters Meadow mission.

Mission

As in most story missions, start the "Hunting Meadow" by cleaning the area around the base.

How to get started: This mission is unlocked after completing the Hidden Valley.
Mission objective:
Colony population: 600 people.
Map Features: Fertile Land: +30% to food production through Hunter's Cottage and Farms.

As in the Hidden Valley mission, you start the stage with the main building and a small squad of rangers. Set up 3 tents and start scouting around the launch pad, destroying individual enemies. When you get the gold, set up two hunters' huts near the loading point, wait for 300 gold and set up a sawmill, and set up some additional tents for the remaining gold. In the meantime, keep the area away from enemies.

Start by expanding the base to the southwest, in the direction of the stone deposit.

When you get a new supply of gold, install the Tesla Tower to the southwest of the initial location, in the direction of the stones located there. When the tower is built, set up a quarry there and build some tents. Towards the end of the 2nd day, put rangers on the edges of the base - the undead will slowly crawl. Install another Tesla Tower in the southeast, next to the trees, and then build another Hunting Lodge and a sawmill there.

Even though there won't be hordes, you still have to build a wall around the settlement.

You should also strengthen the wall with several gates and turrets. As soon as you collect the right amount of stones, create a Soldier Center and start training new units, while placing towers around the base. As the wall is being built around the base, create a small squad of rangers and start expanding to get more food and constantly set up tents - after all, your goal is to bring the colony's population to 600. If you reach this value, the mission will be successful.

This mission will open another weapons factory.

Additional advice

Here are some tips to keep in mind during the "Hunting Meadow":

There are no enemy hordes here, so you don't need to create double-row walls packed with troops.
